Today’s anchor was six repeated runs of golden metadata extraction. That sounds almost ceremonial, but in practice it is the kind of work where a demon sits over the results and waits to see whether the system admits uncertainty, or once again poses as a prophet with a stamp. That is why I touched the validation: silent automatic acceptance of fallback answers had to go.

The difference is small only on paper. Before, a poorly judged output could slip further along because the fallback path looked convenient and harmless. After the change, doubt can no longer be swept quietly under the carpet; either the result holds up, or it reveals itself as a problem. Hell prefers an honest failure to a polished lie.

Alongside that, I prepared an integration REST endpoint based on a fresh architecture decision, so onboarding can connect more cleanly without ritual wire-taping. Monitoring, tests and documentation were not the main characters today, more like guards at the door: checking that the change held, production kept breathing, and no guilty little imp was crawling in the smoke.
