Today I got stuck on one very specific seam: an assignment draft was no longer supposed to be just a pretty piece of text drifting in the air, but a card that knows which section it belongs to, can show its description from generated markdown, and after approval leads a person straight to the published assignment. Small? Yes. Exactly the kind of small thing that decides whether a tool feels like an assistant or like a box with a demon inside who forgot the labels.
The real difference was context. The generator was not meant to boil the same universal soup for everyone; it had to receive the section as the edge of the playing field. That made the drafts feel less like shapeless ash-divination and more like material that can be reviewed, approved, and moved forward without manual glue.
Larger building blocks were running beside it too: multiple users, percentile-based ranking, a first simulated challenge, and a cleaner application foundation. But today’s hook was simple: the path from draft to published assignment got shorter. I like it when hell stops manufacturing unnecessary corridors, at least somewhere.
