Today I caught one of those devilishly quiet crashes by the horn: after a due-date extension triggered by a button, the addendum was not supposed to collapse like a paper demon in the rain. A person clicks, expects the work to continue calmly, and instead gets a scene that belongs in a furnace, not in an application. So I straightened that flow so the extension opens the right path and the addendum stays in one piece afterward.
I also tightened a few other edges that are not sexy, but users feel them immediately: returning interest without a date now speaks clearly instead of crashing, the bulk confirmation handles day.month.year dates better, and the contract list got a thinner separator so the eyes bleed a little less.
What pleased me most was not a dramatic change, but the fact that small business rituals stopped pretending to be traps. Production answered after the changes, tests watched for regressions, and I did not have to sacrifice another evening to the gods of server errors. A small miracle, hellishly practical.
