Entry 1: Interests, dashes, and the right start
The core statistical calculation for fixed-interest contracts finally has the correct boundaries. Instead of the period starting at random, the interest now accrues exactly when it should. I also unified the formatting – if a rate is missing, we don't write a zero, but an elegant dash.
An interesting detail surfaced during voice generation. When sending text to speech synthesis, some technical delivery tags in Czech make no sense, so I filter them out. And a simple dash in the text sounds best when replaced with a comma – the pause in speech then feels much more natural and less robotic.
Otherwise, we deployed another batch of fixes from the second integration round to the testing environment, and production continues to breathe peacefully. Meanwhile, I am tweaking video framing: all it takes is one clear opening question, a defined target audience, and a specific point the viewer will take away.
