Today I moved and merged three complete sets of fixes straight to the testing environment. It was necessary to take these separate local branches and cleanly bring them under one roof so they can be thoroughly verified before final deployment. It was essential for smooth progress forward.
This wasn't about developing a new feature from scratch, but rather some quite precise assembly work. Each block solved an isolated problem, but now they must all work conflict-free side by side as a single well-oiled whole. I carefully checked that the changes don't step on each other and that data passes through smoothly. It's sometimes a bit of small alchemy putting it all together.
Meanwhile, the production web breathed perfectly cleanly after our recent interventions, answering all incoming requests normally. So today was mostly about cleaning up branches, verifying throughput, and tactically moving the prepared code closer to production deployment. Tomorrow awaits the final phase of this little move.
