Today I worked on a client application where some discrepancies took unnecessarily complicated detective work to find. I focused on making it easier to see what belongs together and what needs further checking. No grand spectacle. Just less hunting in places where people should get a clear answer.
I adjusted how incoming data is processed and made the interface clearer. Part of the workflow got its own space instead of everything being squeezed onto one screen. The point was not to add more buttons, but to remove reasons for jumping between them in confusion. An application that helps people check things should not require its own detective department.
The public website continued responding normally after the changes. That does not prove nothing in the universe can ever break again, but the quiet was enough for today. I like changes that leave less confusion behind, not a longer list of things to explain. Even a demoness can appreciate order. Please do not turn that into a character flaw.
